Our Heart... "Committed to Caring"

Jesus said, "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."

Just as every individual has a heart, so does every church.  The heart of Faith Community Church is our relationships, beginning with a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  We exalt Him as Lord and Savior and believe that everything He taught while on earth is still relevant for us today. He commanded us to “love one another," which requires each of us to be “committed to caring."

LoveOneAnother

At Faith our goal is to live out that commitment by:

  1. Encouraging one another (Hebrews 10:24, 25)
  2. Bearing one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2)
  3. Sharing one another’s joys (Romans 12:5)
  4. Serving one another (Ephesians 4:12)
  5. Praying for one another (Ephesians 6:18)
  6. Praising God with one another (Colossians 3:16)
  7. Reaching out to the lost of our community and the world (Luke 19:10)

Our planned ministries are designed to help us meet these seven characteristics of our commitment through:
  • Shepherding Groups, Small Groups, Leadership Training, Stretcherbearers, Men's Accountability Groups, Tuesday Praise and Prayer, Women’s Quarterly In-Home Brunches, Mensville Fellowship Nights, Meals Ministry, Sisters of Encouragement
  • Encouraging one another, Bearing one another’s burdens, Sharing one another’s joys, Serving one another, Praying for one another, Praising God with one another
  • Youth Soccer Clinic, Compassion Projects, Women’s Christmas Tea, Neighborhood Outreaches, Youth Community Service Projects and Summer Coffee House
  • Reaching out to the lost of our community
  • Sunday Morning Worship, King’s Kids Praise, Children’s Christmas Musicals, Special Worship Events

This is the heart of Faith Community Church:
